Filippo Brunelleschi

Architect, goldsmith, and sculptor, born in Florence, NC Italy. One of the figures answerable for the hike of the Renaissance allurement in Florence, his supreme ball game is the dome of the cathedral there. Erected between 1420 and 1461, it is (measured diametrically) the largest in the world, and served as the tracery for Michelangelo's father for St Peter's in Rome. Other pre-eminent buildings by him in Florence are the Church of San Lorenzo (141829) and the Ospedale degli Innocenti (141944). He is also skookum for his innovations in the aid of perspective.
